The Future:  A Powerhouse Reborn

Once landmarked and no longer needed for steam production, the Powerhouse offers endless possibilities.  New Yorkers and non-New Yorkers alike have suggested a number of uses for the Powerhouse, including an art museum, an indoor market, event space for Fashion Week or movie premiers, performance space, and a sports and entertainment complex like Chelsea Piers.  With a building as large as the Powerhouse, anything is possible.
